Vincent Corporation
Vincent equipment has found various applications in the paper & pulp industry. With many combinations of press duty and size, its easy to find an economical solution to solids/liquids separation. Although our company has been around since 1931, we didnt get involved with paper and pulp applications until 1994. In the fourteen years since, we have placed over 65 machines throughout the world, but primarily here in North America.
CP/VP Presses
These are our heavy duty presses, manufactured in various sizes. The CP-4
weighs 350lbs. and is excellent for testing and lab work. The VP-30 press, at
50,000lbs., will process 150 bone dry tons per day. These are the presses of
choice when the driest cake is the goal. We have CP/VP installations doing
screen rejects like shives and knots, pond remediation, and clarifier
underflow.
KP Presses
Like the CP/VP presses, the KP presses were originally developed for the food
industry. Now we are finding applications for this medium duty press in paper
and pulp mills. There are currently mills using the KP press for clarifier
underflow (where the press cake merely needs to be stackable). White water
rejects at a consistency less than 1% are run through a high RPM machine.
Stock thickening is a good fit for our KP-S presses. Knots and shives are
processed through a KP machine and the black liquor is reclaimed. The shives
are burned and the knots are re-introduced to the digesters. We produce the KP
press in 6, 10, 16, 24 and 30' sizes.
Fiber Filters
Fiber Filters come in three sizes, with a capacity of up to 1200 gallons per
minute. While a press is used to squeeze water from some flow, fiber filters
remove solids from very dilute flows. They are used to clean up filtrate from
rotary drum thickeners, screw presses, and parabolic side hill screens. They
have been used to thicken stock for chest storage. Shower water can be cleaned
up with a fiber filter and the solids de-watered in a press.
Equipment Rental
Testing our equipment (presses or fiber filters) on your application is easy
with our rental fleet. We have over 130 machines in the fleet. Our rental
program is "no obligation", no time period commitment, and we will provide
an engineer to assist with startup and operation. 50% of rental fees are
applied to purchase.
