Headboxes (AirPaded Rectifier Roll and Hydraulic and Open)
Deep knowledge of headbox hydraulics and sound paper making know-how result in a design giving a floc-free and wake free with uniform basis weight profile over the whole machine width. Rectifier roll and hydraulic headboxes are produced up to 7 meters ( 275" in pond width) with option of dilution control. Comer also produces the highest quality rectifier rolls on a dedicated production line. Every head box is costumed designed for specific customer requirements and produced in superior welding fabrication facilities to close tolerances and high precision surface finish.
Deinking Lines
Process experience, innovative deinking line equipment, good pilot plant test facilities and system simulation capability are required to deliver an optimum deinking system. Comer is capable to provide all these key tools. The overall design goal is to meet the product quality specifications and production targets at minimum cost (capital and operating). New, innovative deinking equipment design provides improved pulping, screening and ink removal.
OCC Stock Preparation Lines
Greater usage of secondary fiber in packaging paper production as well more sophistication in packaging products are demanding higher quality in terms of cleanliness and printing properties taking into account lower running costs and an acceptable level of investment. Comer is capable to fulfill these requirements by supplying efficient lines using OCC and mixed waste paper for producing testliner or fluting. Fractionization or splitting of short and long fibers are into two different streams can be incorporated in these lines The SF ratio (40%) is sent to 4-stage low density cleaners and disc thickener and then to the PM chest. The LF ratio (60%) is treated in order to eliminate the stickies and hot melts.
